Medical Disclaimer

Last updated: 16 July 2026

DocSukoon is an assistive documentation tool for qualified, registered medical practitioners. It is not a medical device, it does not practise medicine, and it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. This page is a starting template — please have it reviewed by a qualified legal advisor before relying on it.

The doctor is the final authority

Everything DocSukoon captures — patient information, diagnosis, medicines, doses, frequency, and investigations — is presented to the treating doctor as an editable draft. The doctor reviews, corrects, and validates every detail before it is saved, and reviews the prescription before it is printed or shared. DocSukoon is a tool at the doctor’s disposal; it never overrides clinical judgment.

No autonomous clinical decisions

DocSukoon does not prescribe, dispense, or make clinical decisions. Features such as medicine validation flag possible mis-heard names and dosages against a reference list of Indian generics and brands — these are aids to the doctor, not substitutes for the doctor’s judgment. The doctor decides what is correct.

Prescriptions are valid only with the doctor’s signature

Any document produced by DocSukoon is a drafting aid and is valid only once reviewed and signed by the treating doctor. An unsigned draft has no clinical or legal standing.

Responsibility

The treating doctor remains solely responsible for the accuracy of the record and the appropriateness of the diagnosis, medicines, and advice. By using DocSukoon, the doctor acknowledges that the software is an aid and that final verification rests with them.

Not for patient self-diagnosis or emergencies

DocSukoon is intended for use by clinicians during care, not by patients for self-diagnosis. It is not for use in medical emergencies.
